with 2 bar OS on HP, can you still activate the MAF like normal operation?

with 2 bar OS on HP, can you still activate the MAF like normal operation? I need to pass emissions with my car, and I failed last time because of the MAF code for SD. If i put the MAF fail frequency back to normal and leave the maf on with a 2 bar SD OS will everyone run ok at cruise with no codes?
