EFI-L {B3632} After start coolant temp enrichment
I saw something recommending changing the VE table to help warm starts with cam. That doesn't strike me as being the "correct" way.
Would B3632 be the proper way to lean it out? I do want to lean right?
I see the chart stops at 140*. Does that mean it has no input above 140*?
and finally, which way would I go with the number to make it idle better and how much might you recommend?
TIA!

Have a look at b4304 startup airflow correction. With my cam warm starts were not too good until I added some more air into the appropriate range in this table. I think you should try this table first.
Have a play and let us know how you go.

hmmm... b4304 isn't showing up. Could it be because I have a '98?
ringram, your blog is awesome. For some reason, when I read a lot of online info on tuning, I get lost like I'm reading Greek. I read a few sections of your blog and, because of your clear writing style, I understand a lot more already. I especially enjoyed the section on idle tuning. You should cut and paste some of that into a post for a sticky. If you don't, I probably will and give you credit. I have yet to see anyone else explain idle tuning. I need to go back and read the entire blog later. Thanks!

Thanks, I think because I started right at the beginning when I got the software it makes more sense.
The extra air is under Idle/Startup called "Startup Airflow Correction". Maybe its not in the 98. Ok I just checked, take a look for b4304, probably my bad.

It's B4303 on my '98. I see that it stops at 140* as well. Do you think it still does anything if the coolant is >140*?
You need to post some pics of your car on your blog. I didn't see anything except your engine compartment! I love the R8's... better than the GTO's IMO.
