Default Idle Setting?

Is there any possible way to change the idle without a tune? I'm pretty sure 95% I will have to find someone in the area to tune it down to preferably 750 or so but was just checking. Can the set screw move it down? Or something with the IAC? Damn search is down

I tried playing with the set screw to raise mine, ended up getting the idle bumped up with a tune.

I was trying to raise mine cause of idle hunting/stalling after my TC install, you may be different - seemed like the PCM did what it wanted to after it "learned" what I was trying to do.

adjusting the screw may temporarily adjust your idle speed until the PCM learns how to compensate for the change. Idle speed is set in the PCM calibration.
