Default 2 OBDII Ports???

Ok, I have an Interceptor ScanGuage and EFILive I would like to be able to use them both at the same time. Would it work to get a OBDII port out of a junk car and put it next to my current port and splice in the necessary wires for the ScanGauge to work? Anyone see any problems with this? Would the two devices conflict with each other while trying to exchange data with the PCM? Any one have any thoughts on this?

Aeroforce makes/sells a kit where you can use 2 of the interceptor gauges at the same time with a special adapter. If you bought that adapter I dont see any reason why you wouldnt be able to do what your trying to do.

You can make a Y cable, but you may run into problems when you have 2 devices receiving the same information back, If they are both going to be address to the same tester address.

I thought of that, but I talked to the dealer I bought the ScanGauge from and he said it's not a OBDII splitter cable, it has OBDII on one end and 2 little ScanGauge plugs on the other ends.

See, that's what I was wondering. Anyone have any experience with this?
