Default Basic turbo tuning questions

Forgive me, but search is still not cooperating for me.

I am getting ready to tune my T76 TTi turbo setup and want to make sure I do it right. I have a Z06 cam and othewise stock engine. Stock compression.

I am thinking that first I should tune VE, which hopefully won't take much since the cam is near stock.

Then I can set the PE for the a/f I want.

Then go in and adjust the boost and timing. I am planning to run 7-8 psi, but I am not sure on timing. Anybody with a similar setup have some advice on timing? Pete.

you could go to the HPT bin respository and get Smokin Hawks file and use the timing tables as a start. Thats what I think Im going to do. He was at like 10 psi.
