cuts out 3-5k then takes off Ok here is the latest...put it on the dyno and ran lean as hell so pulled fuel pump found the strainer collasped...so thought for sure pump would fix it...installed pump from an 02 car...and now pulls like an ape from idle to 3000 rpm then falls on its face sputters till 5000rpm then pulls hard to 7000rpm...will continue to pull as long as it does not drop below 5000rpm???///very strange...blew out lines///fuel filter...pulled pump checked it agin and does the same thin 3-5 dead but halls after 5k...anybody had this,,, very very weird...

Sounds like a tune up type issue. Did you actually replace the fuel filter? Check the plugs and wires too and run some fuel system cleaner through the tank.

yea I did all the basics...thats where you should always start... the tune fuel tables were bad...took it to RPM in Lewisville and they fixed right...great bunch of guys down there and very reasonable...car runs awesome now...
