HPTuners-- Idle issue with 60# injectors & turbo
Turbo 5.3L I had 43# injectors in and it idled perfect Now I put a bigger cam (224/224 .580/.580) and 60# injectors in. Tuned it and now i cant get rid of this idle problem. 80% of the time it does it, goes from 400rpm to 1000rpm....up and down. One in a great while it smooths out at 900rpm. And my A/F fluctuates between 14.5-15.0, Do i need to change anything else besides the "flow rate vs KPA" for these bigger injectors to get it to idle right? Or may it not even be the problem.
thanks.
thanks.

I tried tried and tried to get these 60lbs to work with my setup NA. Finally ended up giving up and put some SVO30s in for now. I think the biggest issue is that no one truly knows what the Offset table on this injector is supposed to be. I could never get a person to test them for me on every value for the Offset table. Until someone gets that done, I personally believe these injectors will NEVER run right.
One of the biggest problems is that the PCM cant command a low enough pulse width for this injector. If I didnt get the offset voltage done, the only other way was to put a vacuum referenced regulator so that during idle and low map it would pull back the fuel pressure (since you cant command lower than a 1.1msec injector pulse width).

My problems are in the low rpm (1500-2000RPM) light throttle (2-7%).
