can i use my PCM as an RPM switch????

Default can i use my VCM as an RPM switch????

In hptuners VCM Editor, what is the "Edit>Engine>General>Shift Light" column used for? is there away i can run a wire from on of the VCM pins then set the values to a certain rpm and use my VCM to trigger my electric shifter?? sorry if this has been posted already, i tried to search for information on this but the damn search feature isnt working right now. TIA -Allen

i think i just found an answer to my question here-

i wonder if i could do the same thing, but use the electric shift selenoid in place of the led's? i guess theres only one way to find out....
