Default anybody use the ngk wideband

Looking into getting a wideband. There all so expensive. The ngk is $230 which is a pretty good price. Anyone got any experience with them at all?

from what i hear the NGK's are great, the only drawback was the cost of the sensor...you can get bosche sensors new for ~$50...if the NGK sensors have come down in price I'd say go for it, try it out & report back...I don't think you'll find many here who have tried their low cost unit. Many seem to get the $170-200 LC1...plx also hit the market recently with a cheap entry, add in AEM and a few others & you've got yourself alot of competition lol

so this is the lc-1 http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...3b20577943fe70

But thats only for the cable, then you still gotta buy a gauge for it where the NGK is a stand alone kit., more of a plug and play correct. Correct me if im wrong. I have a obd1 lt1.

I would say talk to chad from greenlightmotorsports...not sure if he sells the gauged packages or not but i know he sells the LC-1 units and I don't think the gauges are more then another $30-50, but if you can get the NGK for $230 thats a great price if it comes with everything sensor, controller, display...seems like most in this particular section of the forum have LS1's with tuning software/hardware that supports analog inputs for things like widebands so many choose the cheapest option out there...the LC-1 fits that bill nicely for them
