Default How-To: Remove/Install PCM

Well, yes I did plenty of searching but couldn't find for the life of me a walk-through on how to remove the PCM. Couldn't even find any tips or tricks for the process...

I need to remove my PCM and send it to my programmer to be re-tuned... Thanks for any help.

7mm bolts under the cover, which should just unclip. Just undo, remove connectors, then PCM should slide out, you might need a screwdriver to help ease it out.
At least thats how it comes out on the Holden/GTO.

I thought I read a while back that there's a big issue with routing the wiring harness - maybe I'm thinking of pulling the engine from the car or something.

Don't forget to disconnect the battery first just to be safe - caught myself just in time.

Thanks guys! I had checked ls1howto.com and installuniversity but couldn't find anything - I didn't think to check under the shift light how-to.
