Default Idle Speed Vs Base Airflow

Good morning everyone. New to the tuning community. Have a question about Idle calculations. Can you assume that changes in the idle speed are proporitonal to changes in Base Idle airflow. Basically, if I make a 10% increase in idle speed at a particular ECT, then can I assume a 10% increase in base airflow. I know that this does not apply over the entire RPM range, but since the change is small, could we assume a proportional change?
TIA
Ezra

Default

Not a 1:1 ratio. But there will be a relationship for sure. If you log airflow and rpm you will see what the relationship is. Also load and atmospheric conditions will come into it. Fans, AC etc.
