Car won't start reset PCM car starts.

Car won't start reset PCM car starts. Recently my car died while driving it...I pushed it into a parking lot....was going to get it towed came back and it started right up after a lot of cranking...
I get the car home it sits for 5-6 hours...come back won't start....I reset the PCM it starts back up....turn it off turn it on fine...sits for another 5-6 hours won't start back up.
Service engine light is on hook up and OBDII scanner no codes...tell it to reset codes and the light goes off and the car starts right up.
Any ideas what to look for first?
