2000 trans am with a th 350 swap. trying to tune idle and my raf table is only good for in gear cause the computer only reads this setting and not the p/n setting. anyway around this or do i have to just deal with it?

If your car was an auto before flash the a4 os with an m6 os, you have to tune it like you would a m6 which is always considered in gear.

i did that and i get that you have to scale the in gear settings, but the in gear desires much more than the p/n desires and so how do you get the dang thing to not cruise in p/n position if you set the in gear to what it desires in gear? and if you set it for idle, then it surges when you put it in gear or dies completely.

Just put it in gear and hold the brake. And start logging. Then make your changes. Thats what I did.
