Default Is it in the tune?

my car is a 02 zo6 w a 408 and 257/266 cam and it has been tuned it was runing good at the shop but win i got it home the plugs were black and it was braking up bad i have like 5 or 6 sets of plugs in the car in like 10mi and it is driving me nuts!! will it help to go w sd some say thats not going to help but others say it will help w that big cam

Your first step should be to take it back to the tuner and have him check / fix the tune. You paid for it. Get your money's worth. SD or MAF is a choice, but over on the HPT board, SD is the choice of most of the tuners. It's what feels best on my stock car.

No, the guys at New Era did a geat job but it just needs more time on the part throttle tune because I picked it up shortly after the WOT tune. I was really happy after the numbers it made on the dyno but we never drove the car on the street because it wasn't on the road yet. I will be bringing the car back for a part throttle tune soon. Mike has tuned a lot of cars with big cams and stands behind his work until his customers are satisfied.
