MAF values and horsepower.
I'm dialing in my turbo tune, and I'm just about there. I know that there is more power in my setup, as my timing at WOT is very conservative right now.
My question for the FI guys is, what MAF lb/min are you seeing at WOT, and what is your crank or RWHP horsepower?
I'm going to the dyno to find out for sure, but I'm curious to see what your MAF and dyn/cyl is for known horsepower levels.
I'm aware of the rule of thumb formulae out there, but they don't seem to be right for me. I know that I'm not 526HP with my 52.64 lb/min MAF log (10 * MAF lb/min). I also used another formula that takes into account BSFC and AFR, but that didn't seem right either.
If you know your real horsepower, and have logged MAF and dyn/cyl, post up the values.
My last log showed 11.7 AFR, 52.64 lb/min and 1.02 dyn/cyl at WOT and 5600 RPM. I know there's more there, but I'm being really conservative for the time being.
