Default how much power is a stock pcm good for?

refering to 01-02 pcms. just want to know to see wether its a good idea to just go with an aftermarket controller or get tuning software. goal is i want to hit the 4 digit (1000RWHP) mark at some point with boost of course.

if you can drive an injector to support that much power, that much power can be controlled with that pcm.

Quite a few of our tunershop customers have hit that mark on the stock PCM.

The PCM will control it but of course you'll have to get the tuning software to be able to adjust for it.
