Question Does The PE Table play a roll in a Open Loop Tune?

My Tuner has my 408 tuned for Open Loop only.Does WOT use the PE table or does it go by the Open Loop F/A vs. Coolant Temp vs. map table? Thanks for the help

It picks the richer of the two which almost has to be PE.

Correct...the PCM always errs on the safe side. I've been running mine open loop for who knows how long, and still use the PE table for WOT fueling (but my Open loop table is only a hair leaner at WOT MAP values).

PE is an open loop mode only, even when you are in closed loop. As soon as you go into PE, the O2s are no longer used and your fuel trims lock.
