Default MS3 & Idle Problems

if anybody here has the MS3 cam and similar mods, please chime in and tell me what advice you've had with the tuning of the car.

We've been working on this for awhile last year, then put it away for winter storage. Now that I have the car out again and its hot, i'm having the same issues.

Car is driving fine....a SLIGHT hanging idle, but I can deal with it.

But the car still has some idling issues.
I had the car at 55mph, turn the A/C onto max and when I let the
clutch out to come to a stop, she stalled. Started back up and would
idle okay.

Today the car has had problems idling. Bogs down real low and almost
stalls out. Infact it has stalled out, and then you have to turn the
car over for a few extra seconds to get it to fire, then give it gas
for it to pick up.

She keeps throwing a code due to the idling issue. I'll have to get it from my tuner this week.

Have any of you guys had similar problems? I know the MS3 cam is pretty big, but I know a lot of people on here are using it and I haven't seen much complaint from them.

We're using HPTuners, so if you would like to share your file let me know!

Check the RAF tables, throttle cracker/ follower tables.

AC is a huge load, so you're kind of dicked for idling around with it on... best hope is to use the idle table to really crank up the idle RPMs.

I don't really ever run the A/C, but I wanted to see how the car would act

but still, the idling problems are a PITA. I'm taking it to my tuner on Saturday. He knows SCT like the back of his hand, so the HPTuners is a little different. Hopefully we can figure something out

If you tuned the VE, MAF, & RAF tables and added some timing in the idle regions, you really shouldn't have any major issues.

Maybe you have a vacuum leak that went unnoticed?

On some I have had really good luck with the AC Torque settings... some cams are just a PITA to use with A/C. Especially true since often times fans are on down low at the same time. Even with their airflow cranked and the AC torque worked on some just don't like it.
