Default if you are running any megasquirt in here plz.

Hello, I want to get a consensus form the guys on here about Megasquirt. I know some people have used it with great success (parish8 a.k.a. Jim comes to mind). I am planning on using it on a NON ls1 motor, I’ll be using it on my charger and my supra if it goes well. Please let me know any opinions you have about it.

Also I don’t think anyone has used a Megasquirt on a supra/sc300 yet so I’m wondering how steep the learning curve is if I don’t have any base maps available.

...also please include which version/options you have on your system.

Thanks guys.

I run it on a 89 foxbody 5.0L , stock motor with cam. Ms2 v3 setup here with stock MAP sensor.

Its pretty easy to get going, depending on how your ignition is setup, and also how your crank trigger / rpm input is done. I believe there was a thread over on supra forums about using it on a 2jz.

I recommend checking out msefi forums for most questions, there is alot to be learned over there.
