Default Those with the MS3 or similar cam

Hey guys I have a strange backfire issue upon quick acceleration. This only happens after I am completely off the throttle either from a start or after coasting and then getting on it. This is on my 2000 C5 with mods in my sig basically just the cam and boltons. We have taken out so much timing down low I dont think that it is the problem. What do you all suggest I look at next.

Probably unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust. Does it still backfire when you disable the DFCO and DFCO M6 temp enablers (set to 283*F)??

Pretty common on Vette's. Ussually the timing goes to 0 degree's and loads up the exhaust.I ussually run 10 degree's of timing on decel and stops 90% of the backfiring.

That was my next suggestion....great minds think alike, eh?

Blacked Out - Ideally, you don't want to keep DFCO disabled as it provides some of your fuel savings. If that was the culprit, try increasing the DFCO timing some as Slowhawk suggested.
