Need help with basic nitrous tune
Need a little help with doing a couple basic things for a nitrous tune with EFI Live. I'm looking to pull 2-4 degrees of timing, so far I pulled it from the low octane and the high octane tables, are there any more?
I would also like to add about 5% fuel to the tune at WOT. I've been looking around the tables and nothing is looking really familiar to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say don't pull the 4 degrees from the whole map. Only .6 grams/cylinder and higher AND 3000 RPM and higher. This way it won't take longer to get up to that range.
You would add more fuel by changing the PE numbers to be more rich under the PE v RPM parameter. (engine cal->fuel->mixture->) I tuned my PE only to come in under WOT ie when the nitrous is on. And check that with a wideband sensor after your runs. Don't add to the VE table.
Maybe someone else can give a more professional tip but that is basically how I fine tuned my kit. I'm no species of genious but I get along.

If you have a 99+ pcm a custom operating system like doc said isnt a bad idea. PE isnt the only place to add fuel but it is probably the best for what your doing right now.

I'm running my 98 PCM right now just to try and keep things somewhat simple. Once I get this stuff figured out I plan on upgrading to a 99+ PCM. The race season is just too short here in Alaska to make major changes mid summer. I do most of my work in the winter.

To understand the .87 PE value, simply mutliply the starting ratio 14.63 times the modifier
.87ModifierNumber*14.63StoichRatio ---> 12.7AirFuelRatio
If you wanted to run 12:1airfuelratio
12AirFuelRatio/14.63StoichRatio ---> .82ModifierNumber
So yes. Making it a lower number like .85 would make it richer. You when you play with the PE number yes you are fudging but that is the easiest way to do this without getting too involved until you are ready to start tuning on it.
The proper way is to tune the VE is without the MAF and then go back and tune the MAF OR just leave the MAF out and tune the VE alone.
