E40 ECU ?'s Reflash and Reprogram
OK if searched for hours and have not found my answer so here goes. I need a E40 ECU for a 1969 Camaro I'm doing. I searched on car-part for a ECU to use. It shows cars ranging from a 2004 Impala SS to a Envoy with a 5.3. So my question is are the ECU's the same giving that I'm going to use HPT or EFIlive to tune it once the ECU has been reflashed to a GTO bin file.

It should be fine, you would just load up efilive, apply the custom os mod for stand alone no vats, and do a full flash of the file into the computer. I have some e40 pcms here also if you need one, as well as efilive cables.
If you buy the software from us, the e40 computer would be $75 bucks shipped.

So your saying your software can tune any E40 whether its from a Grand Prix or a Buick Ranier? The Camaro has a 408 T56 a Whipple 3.3 blower, I'm using a 2004 Yukon throttle body, with a drive by wire pedal from a 2006 GTO, a Accelronics injector box, and 96lb injectors. Can EFLive take care of all that? Heres a pic of what I'm doing.

Yes it would do just fine, the custom operating system for boost will work perfectly.
Yes you are correct. EFILive dont care about the car the pcm came from, just the pcm type. This case being E40. 96Lb injectors might be a little to big, but you would be able to tune for them.
