Default help with 4l60e swap

ive got a 72 camaro ls6/4l60e. just put the trans in and its got a code p0608 which is vss output malfunction. the trans is running full line pressure at all times. the vss output off the pcm is goin to my autometer elec. speedo and it works perfect!!!

so my question is, is this p0608 causeing my trans to act up or is there something else goin on? the car and trans have been tuned but the trans has a stock file. stock line pressures. im at a loss and want to drive my car!!!!

i hope someone has seen this before and can help thanks!!

A failed VSS may cause the transmission to command full line pressure. Many transmission-related diagnostic failures will do this.

I'd try disabling the P0608 diagnostic and see if the problem goes away.
