Default system readiness efilive v5

After my LT install I was getting insufficient switching and slow response codes from the O2s. Put new sensors in today and ground down the bungs. (reset PCM) So far the DTCs have not registered but it's only got about 30 miles.

But I am still failing some system readiness tests. I know they may dissapear but am still curious. The O2 readings are still not switching as normal.
Oxygen Sensor Heater
Catalyst
Evaporative System

I wanna know all I can about these tests. When and what the test is performed on. and WTF is it!

I'm clueless about the heater, the catalyst, I'm running no cats and the DTCs for the rear O2s,AIR, and EGR were set to a MIL variable of "X"(off), a long time ago.

Turning off the codes means you cant pass the test. At least based on what tests I am failing and what I have turned off.

You're right, you can't pass with them off but I haven't turned off the codes, only changed the MIL variable. This is what is needed to pass the tests.

as an update: I discovered this doesn't mean I'm failing, only that the tests haven't been completed yet. The catalyst can take up to 5 drive cycles.

You will need to perform a couple of drive cycles to have these tests re-performed and the reuslts stored in your PCM.
The GM OBDII drive cycle is displayed here:
