Can MAP Numbers Help Detemine if there is a Vacuum Leak?
Can MAP help determine if there is a vacuum leak. If so what numbers are signs of vacuum leak?

Yes it can be, although it would be better to tell on a stock cammed car, you would have to know what the MAP reading would be normally at idle to compare. The last one I seen that had a vacuum leak had about a 2v reading when the crack in the intake would expand.

Your MAP drop would be proportional to the size of the leak. You should run lean due to added air. Did you pull heads or intake? Check your work. Did you log data with AutoTap before AND after the SUSPECTED leak? Do you see a demonstrable difference in the MAP values at various load levels?
