I was thinking about cleaning out my engine bay and everyone tells me to cover up the PCM, along with some other things. My question is and it may sound stupid but where is it and what should i cover it with. A towel maybe?

It should be water proof. The only time it isnt is if you would remove or insert wires into the connectors and not fill them with silicon.. It should do just fine. They get wet every time your car sees rain anyways..
