Default Another Airbag Light Question?

Guys/Gals,

I have received conflicting answers and wondering if anyone out there knows definitively an answer to the following:

If you have an airbag light displayed on a 95 Fbody (3 sensors and one SRS Comp) will the airbag light reset/go off upon start up if the problem is resolved or is it a fixed code that must be reset by a GM scanner in the SRS computer? The reason I ask is I think I might just have a loose connection and don't wanna waste all my time checking all of them if the light will just stay on if I find and fix one of these.

Any ideas?

The light will go away on pretty much the first good ignition on. The code might dwell for awhile but you will be ok.

Provided you fix the problem as soon as you turn the key on and start the engine the SRS module will perform diagnostics and if all is well the lamp will turn off. If you want to get the code out after that just unplug the battery.

Ok, just a quick update for all of those who helped me with their advise. I had the radio out this weekend to do some upgrades and took a look behind at the SRS comptuter. And what do I find, the Pass Airbag is unplugged. Plug her back in and like magic the airbag light resets and no more issue. Guess that is what you get when you have a GM body shop do the repairs??? Oh, well it's fixed and thank you all.
