Default Can I shorten the harness on my AEM Wide Band?

I'm "cleaning things up" & want to take a couple feet of wire out of the harness from the sensor to the gauge. I'm wondering if shortening the harness will affect the calibration?

JJust to take a stab at it, I would say that it wouldnt effect the calibration at all. May want to wait until a electrican or someone of the sort steps in.

I talked to a guy from AEM & while he didn't reccommend shortening the wires because of the chance of a bad connection in the splice, he did say the length of the wires has no bearing on the calibration. I promptly went out to garage, fired up the soldering iron & went to work.
