Default SES Problem

I started my car and it ran rough and did not react well to increases in throttle. Extremely rich acting. It then cleared up and began to run decent. SES light came on at the next start up and I have a P101 code. I clear it and it runs like crap again. Same process repeated with same results. I have a Interceptor pillar scan gauge and I am getting readings that change with engine rpm off the MAF. What else should I check? Thanks

It looks like you have a mass air flow performance code. I would check the MAF first.

My pod mounted scan gauge is showing movement in both the MAF air pressure and resistance. I am seeing resistance readings between 4500 and 6500 ( idle to cruising speed). I am assuming this data is coming off the MAF? Is there a range for this data?

The range is 1500 to 12000.

This table defines the MAF measured flow rates vs the frequency output to the PCM. It should only be changed if the MAF is modified from stock.

Sorry, I should have said Frequency. Do my readings seem within spec for a stock MAF? Thanks

I guess I proved the importance to do some data logging. I need to do that while the motor is running well. My MAF was working but the readings were way off. Turned out to be a lose hose connection after the supercharger and before the throttle body.
