Default PE Tuning

I have a question for you guys regarding PE tuning. I just bought HP tuners and have the MVI standard version. What suggestions do you have for me tuning PE for Wide open Throttle? I believe that you need to have the Pro version to be able to log and tune for PE is that correct? I was thinking that I might be able to tune using just a wideband o2 sensor and a gauge what do you guys think? Thanks for all your info.

look for writeups that show you how to run an output from your wideband to a (rather) unused PCM input so that it can be logged with HPT still. You can use the EGR input or the A/C refrigerant level input as they are both 5vdc inputs. There are LOTS of threads both here and at HPTuners site, though admittedly, they will be much easier to search for over at HPT where search still does what it should.
