Yank 4000SS installed and hitting rev limiter
Looking for some input on what to adjust in my tune (trans tables) after installing a Yank 4000SS. I previously had a Yank PY3400 and had no problems but now the 2-3 shift is going beyond my set point (6100). I have tried lowering to 5800 RPM and it is still hitting my limiter (7000). I have NEW (less than 500 miles) FLT Level 5 4L65E in the car. Worked great before the swap. The converter is Brand NEW and has been in for 75miles.
Also, do most lock -up the clutch in gears other than 4th for normal driving? This thing is loose driving around town. I am not sure I like the constant 2500-2900 in 3rd (unlocked) until I hit about 45-47mph when fourth comes in and it locks.
Car is a 2000 SS with 3.70 gears.
I have attached my tune. I am using HP Tuners.
Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't you not beat on a brand new converter until you put like 500mi of break in on it? I would be less concerned about then the hitting the rev lim then ruining a brand new converter.

I was searching around on HP Tuners site and I think you are right! I compared mine to a few others with 3.73's and my 2-3 is higher by a bunch, I was overlooking the mph setting and just looking at the RPM. I will try this tomorrow. Learned several other things there too while looking at some proven trans table settings. I will also try locking the clutch in 3rd at moderate speed and loads, this should help a bunch with the driveability.
