Default Is this going to keep happening?

I just threw I in headers with no cats and got a dyno tune. My check engine light came on today. I havent checked it out yet, but pretune it was throwing cat codes, so Im thinking its that. Since Im not running rear 02's or simulators...(the oem connectors are just hanging), will this code keep coming up until I do so?

Ps the tuner said he deleted the rear o2's so.....??

If they are P0420/P0430, he did not delete them.
They could be something different though, so you should have them checked first, then consult with the tuner.

Yes I did just ad longtubes.

How can I fix this. Is the whole 02 sensor bad, or just the connections.

Lol, how did I know...
Its most likely that the harness either got pinched or burned on the headers.
Seems to happen waaaay to often. Get under the car and check the harness.
If you have a scan tool you can monitor the O2s to see if they are switching at all.

its been my experience that the company's building these tubes don't orient the o2 bung in quite the right place and it causes these codes. you can either move the o2's or delete the code. thats about your only option.

I live a good way from my tuner, nor do I really know anyone with hptuners. So how can I check if my 02's are working.....will the free scanner thing at autozone work?

you can just kill the 1153 code, as it doesn't make a difference. I believe i stated this in another of your threads

Nah, it likely running fine, unless that O2 is not switching...it could be stuck in open loop...which would be running rich.

I still say it is in the harness, but the codes could be deleted no prob.
I'd check the harness for burns/rips and fix or replace as necessary.
If its still an issue, and you want to swing by, we'll hook you up.

Thanks
Mike
