Default Setting Injector Size

Was wondering what you guys are programming In your computer. If injectors are rated at 43.5psi and are base pressure is 58psi that makes the injectors bigger.Like a 60lb injector would be close to a 70lb injector, are you guys telling the computer its a 60 or 70.

Thanks
Brad

Use the actual flow based on your fuel pressure. So a 60lb at 43.5 psi would be a 69.28 at 58psi. Use the 69.28 if you are running 58psi and set the IFR based on the flow rate spreadsheet.

The last time I was at the dyno the tuner asked what size injectors I had and just but 60lb injectors in the tune.I dont know anything about tuneing that is why I ask.So is what you are saying is to punch 69.28 in the apropriate box in the tuneing software.Does this affect the a/f alot if it is wrong.

Thanks

You have to scale the injector flow rate table. It's not as simple as just telling the software what size injectors you have. There is a spreadsheet floating around that you plug your info into and it calculates the ifr numbers for you to use in the software.

The tuner uses LS1 Edit is it the same concept with this as it is with HP Tuners and EFI Live.Or is LS1 Edit not good to use. This is on a turbo car also if it matters.

Thanks For All The Help
