Default LS1 Edit & converter slip

Under transmission diagnostics in ls1 edit can someone explain the "torque converter slip" Would changes made here effect the part throttle and wot shifts. Should anyone make changes to this if you are using a stall converter.

Default Re: LS1 Edit & converter slip

How can you change converter slip speed with edit? Stall speed will definitely affect it but you I don't think you can change it, unless you can play with the application of the lockup clutch. It's the difference between the crank sensor signal (impeller) minus the input shaft speed sensor signal (turbine). When the lockup clutch is fully engaged slip speed should be zero.
