I have never had a problem flashing the computer in my vette before. Tonight I flashed it and everything went good untill I cranked the car up. None of the guages worked and the DIC was dead. The car did crank though and idled fine. I turned it off and tried cranking it again. Car fired up but still no guages or DIC. To make things more weird, the radio constantly had power and would stay on even with the key out and the door open. I decided to try and reflash it with the file I had started with. Now everything seems to be back to normal. My question is what went wrong? I have never heard of this happening before. Anybody have a clue.
