Default P0704

i am throwing a PO704 code and it says that its a clutch switch malfunction but i just recently changed the clutch switch and i also have tried starting the car without the clutch depressed but it wont start that way. push the clutch in and fires right up. so the clutch switch is working but why is it throwing a code???? any one help me out??

PS: i am having a clutch issue right now and was wondering if this was the possible source. i think that it involves the slave cylinder spacer but im just trying to get out of having to drop the damn tranny again to take it out..
