pinging still?? i want everyones imput please ok i had a custom tune done on my car, found out i had some loose wires, pluged them back in, my o2's went down to 825 and im still getting pinging, got them changed and they went to 885 and i took off my cats now. still some slight pinging. i have tr55's and i was just wondering if maf ends woudl throw it off that much and if i should just have it richened up some more. and if that doesnt do it what else do i have to look at? plus it is kinda hot here in charlotte would that have anything to do with it? what else should i look at here?

Re: pinging still?? i want everyones imput please If you put on MAF ends then it would not be seeing the #'s right and you car would be leaning out...if you had the dyno tune before the MAF ends...then you have to get re-tuned or put back in the old ends....

2) could be oiled MAF wires, check and clean if so
3) could be a small vacuum leak..egr mod maybe?
4) try TR6 plugs, dont care if your NA, try em, they are a colder range plug and seem to help a lot of people during the warm months,
