Default too much background noise while on dyno

Went to the dyno today, and this has happened several times at different dynos. They hookup the dyno to get the RPM readings, and have a he77 of a time just trying to get a reading. I have swapped out the stock plug wires (taylor spiro 8mm), and plugs, what else could be causing this. He said that he could not get an accurate reading because of this.

Yep. It does happen. Close proximity of the computer is the culprit.

It is tough to get an accurate reading off of aftermarket ignition wires. It is a better practice to get a smaller inductive clamp and use the signal wires at the coil (the small 14 gauge red wire) to get a much better reading.

Can't be sure since I was in the car, but it looks like that is what he was using. wires are still all spread apart on the drivers side coil pack.
