Upshift question
Im hitting the rev limiter a little on the 2-3 shift.
If I lower the upshift MPH will that take care of it or do I raise the upshift MPH ?
I want to keep my upshift RPM were it is.
Thanks

What I do is drop the MPH wot shift 5 mph and then control the shift with the RPM shift point. But if your hitting the rev limiter and want to keep shifting at the same rpm as you are now, this won't fix your problem. You will either need to shift sooner or raise the rev limiter.

Wheels are stock 275/40/17
Predator tuned.
Upshift 1-2 40 mph
2-3 78 mph
3-4 125 mph
Down shift 1-2 31 mph
2-3 72 mph
3-4 123 mph
Upshift Rev
1-2 6250 rpm
2-3 6250 rpm
3-4 6100 rpm
I may go to 6000 RPM and rev limiter to 6250 RPM.
I do have upgraded valve springs and 01 Z06 cam.
The car really jumps nicely at 6250 rpm.
Rev limiter
Not sure what its set at on my Predator it has adjustments of 0 to neg and 0 to pos.
I think its at - 200 rpm now.
Maybe If I go to 0 on the rpm that may cure it. But I don't know what predators 0 reading is 6600 rpm or 6500 rpm ????
Thanks
