Question about shifting rpm vs mph
If you raise the mph at what the trans shifts at and it doesn't correspond with the rpm which does it shift at, the mph or rpm? I'm just trying to figure out why I am not as fast as I should be. A 1.55 60' 7.49 in the 1/8th. The et should be lower than that with a 1.55 60' I'd think. 6250 is the rpm, 27mph, 55mph, 102mph. I don't reach the 102. I'm sure they are going to have to change when I spray tomorrow if the rain holds off. Any suggestions or is this trial and error?

MPH must be reached first, and then RPM. I usually try to get the MPH 2ish MPH under actual and move the RPMs around until it actually hits the RPM point that I am looking for. Careful with that though, start low in the MPH, if the MPH is higher than the set RPM, it may not want to shift at all at WOT.
