need help. computer has no power???

Default need help. computer has no power???
i have been trying to get a break in tune on my car for a little while now. when the lap top gets pluged in and trys to communicate it says it found the interface but has no power. does anyone no what would cause this or any ideas on what to check for. i think they are using hptunners.

Check and make sure the sig lighter has power. OBDII port and it share the same fuse. That's usually the problem.

ok will do that thanks guys. i think it has power because my cutout power is wired into it but will double check everything

well that seems to have been the problem. i can atleast read my codes now so i should be able to tune it
