Default "VCM Hardware does not match"

I am trying to write a new tune into my truck. It has a stock 98' Vette tune/pcm in it and I'm trying to install a tune out of a 00' Camaro cause I am using a cable TB instead of DBW. I have both tunes liscensed. When I do a "Write entire" I get the "VCM Hardware does not match" message. What am I missing here? Thanks

98 is it's own year for VCM's and tune files verses the 99+. Your going to need to make your tune on a base 98 F body tune file. You can't put a 2000 tune file in a 98 VCM. They are not compatable.
