Default Problems with IAC and AutoTap

I'm running a 409 stroker motor in a M6 and havnt been able to get the car to idle. Idle is set to 1200. I know its high but the car hasnt been fully tuned yet. In open loop, it refuses to idle, I just barely have to hold the throttle to keep it running. Once it hits closed loop, it will usually hold an idle, it goes up and down every now and then, but anytime after a hard run it looses idle and takes a little bit to get the idle set again.

I currently have a 15/64" hole in the TB. Desired IAC counts are around 120 to 140. But in AutoTap the actual IAC Position reads 0 Counts. Shouldnt this be constantly changing to show that the IAC motor is letting air through. Or if its reading 0, does that mean my IAC motor is bad and needs to be replaced? Or is it something completely unrelated?

Thanks!

Autotap does not read IAC correctly, you will never get anything other than 0. Just add that bug to the long list against autotap.

yea, i kinda figured that after pulling the IAC out and being able to feel it move

so do I just adjust idle according to the desired IAC count then?
