Favorite Laptop model for LS1 Edit and AutoTap/EFILive?

There has to be an optimum laptop for mobile use, yet one that has a parallel port on board and either a) a wonderful battery life or the ability to accept ~13volts in.

Anyone have any "killer apps"?

Any laptop with a big battery and a couple of RS232 serial ports! Too many of the new laptops have done away with serial ports, replacing them with USB.
