I was doing some tuning on my buddies 98 m6 vette and noticed that when he goes under WOT the fuel system status doesnt go to Open Loop. is that because you cant see that with the 98 pcm's? or is there a possible problem? i still managed to give him a gain of 2 tenths in the 1/4...... i use efi live btw...

the status bit doesn't update like you may initially think it would when going to PE. If the car has been in CL prior to your WOT/heavy throttle pull, it'll still show CL.

ok thanks for the input, i know when i do my own car the status instantly goes to OL under WOT... this is while data logging which i forgot to mention. i know some years the pcms dont have all the same modules and have less options so i thought maybe that was one of them.
