LS6 Firebirds/trans ams
I'm just curious how many people have ls6's in their birds. If you have an ls6 in your bird; Where did the ls6 come from? Automatic or Manual? What are you running? How much horsepower? What modifications do you have?
I have a pretty much stock ls6 from a 2005 CTV. I haven't been to the track yet cause I just got it dyno tuned. I've got 353 horsepower to the wheels. It's Automatic.

Blew the cammed Ls1 in mine back on April 30, 2008 and got the crate longblock ls6 from the cts-v and swapped over all the bolt-ons to the new motor. So I was running a crate Ls6 with a Fast90/NW90, Longtubes, B&B Triflow, ASP UD pulley, ect. I can't remember everything off the top of my head right now but it is also an M6 with 3.90's and a fully built suspension. Dyno-tune at Speed Inc produced 405rwhp and 383rwtq cutout open! I was very happy with the results considering the 9'' and just being a little more than a full bolt-ons car! Just installed a TSP 231/237 saturday though and am waiting for my pcm to get back from TSP to even be able to start the car and will be dynoing it on monday 3/16 at TSP with new #'s!! I was very impressed with the power under the curve and up top with the Ls6/bolt-on's setup though and was running 12.7's at a terrible DA Kansas track on Sumitomo street tires!

Maybe his numbers are low because its an auto we've mainly only seen 6spds, not that there isnt autos out there, they're just uncommon so we dont see many numbers for them
