Default Fan issue with my third gen. Help?

I have an 88 Formula 305 TBI and the past couple of nights when I turn the car off, the fan stays on. Last night I thought it might go off but when I went out an hour and a half later it was still going. I unplugged the battery for the night and when I plugged it in this morning for work it didn't come back on until I started the car, but then when I got to work I had to unplug the battery again because it stayed on. Thoughts?

Fan's almost certainly on a relay, I'd try that before something big $ like the computer. The relay gets stuck on and your fan wont shut off. Check it using a voltmeter.

Don't discount faulty wiring either, check it all before you spend a ton guessing on parts.
