Help bogging down

Help bogging down I have a 97 ws6 and it just started to bogg down on me. The rpms will drop and the car turns off. The other day i was driving and it started to bogg and want to turn off, but i pushed the clutch in and the rpm would rise. First time it has ever done this, but when it boggs the car jerks a little bit.
