Default need some info

Ok I have a 2000 formula has manuel seats in it now.going with leather ones out of a ws6 but I have a problem. the wire in the car is only 2 wires the wire under seats has 6 so my quetion is there an adapter or do I cut and rewire?second the passenger seat has power lumbar so is there an adapter for this and where could I get this stuff Part numbers would help. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, good luck with that, you're gonna need to run wire to do this mod, and if your car did not come optioned with the leather/power seats, it will be a PITA job to do. I thought about this as well one time, but realized it couldn't be done as easily as we hoped for. I would stick with the cloth seats and put your money into performance mods.

I have the power wire in the car.I read somewhere that the part Im looking is gm part number 12177553.I called a local dealer and they could not find it.Does any one know where I could buy this?

Hmm, that may be an old number, I know they updated some of the part numbers on their parts, good luck with the install, let us know how it goes.

Ok cool Im going to dig a little deeper see what I can dig up.and see If gm offers the part any more.

Well turns out the only thing I can get from the dealer is the air supply for the lumbar.Everything else discontinued.Oh well on to plan B.

Don't kill me - I know this is an old thread - but i need that harness 12177553 for my conversion - since i'm not allowed to post to classifieds yet i had no choice but to dig up an old topic on point.
