Dash Pad question...

Dash Pad question... I am in need of a Dash Pad and was wondering if the (4th gen) Camaro Dash Pad's are the SAME as the Firebird's?
I ask because I talked to a guy who has a 94 Camaro and bought a Dash Pad that came from a 93-97 Firebird; he said that the Firebird DP did not fit so he had to get one for a Camaro.
BTW - My Bird is a 98 T/A convertible; not sure if that matters in regards to fitment.
